Ramey Update: 11/27/13 Day before Thanksgiving

Jim is doing fine at PerfectLaw, 13 years now. Cub scout master for Pack 65.
Viola has 12 years at Schwarz Partners Packaging and has recently been promoted to Controller. "Keep up the good work"
Johnathan, 14 in 8th Grade at the local elementary school. So he is a teenager and acting pretty much like a normal teenager. He enjoys basketball which is good as he is as tall as Jim. Johnathan is also in the Boy Scouts Troop65 Weblink in new page.
Josh is 9 now and is Third Grade. (He is reading VERY well). He is reading all the "Harry Potter" series. He enjoys Legos and computer games. Josh is a cub scout in "Pack 65 - Best. Best, BEST!"
Jim, Viola and the Boys are happy with the new boat 23' Donzi.
We still live on Miami Beach, the "Sun and Fun Capital of the World".
Jim made a positive brave choice and went through surgery to chop out most of his stomach (the "Sleeve" operation) in mid August 2011. He has lost over 100 pounds and is feeling much healthier and happier. No more medications. No high blood pressure, hogh colestreral, etc. Worth it.
For Thanksgiving 2010 Dad and the Boys Drove through Tennesse visiting Sisters Kathy and Carol and Niece Gina and nephew-in-law Craig and grand niece Lila Mae. We then went up and visted Uncle Jimmy in Kentucky. We had an excellent time and it was great to see Uncle Jimmy and aunt Betty, namesake to me and my son James Michael. Then we went all the way over to Nebraska, met up with Viola who flew up, and had Thanksgiving at son James Michael's place in Lincoln. We bought a Christmas tree that was still in the ground, cut down for us. It was thte first time I had ever done that and the boys were awestruck. We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with his beautuful wife Lexi and Michael's brother, Matt Ramey Parker. A grand time was had by all. We then did Christmas morning on the day after Thanksgiving with the family up in Nebraska. It was great. We also visited Metropolis, Illinois, home to Super Man. Visited Atlanta Motor Speedway and went inside the pit area.
Sister Kathy is retired and living up in Tennessee. She is doing fair. We all still miss Glenn and always will.
Sister Carol is doing fine and living up in Tennessee near Kathy. Her Daughter Gina and Gina's husband Craig Taylor live in East Tennessee now with a beautiful baby girl Lila and a handsome son Troy.
James Michael Ramey has wed the beatiful and talented Alexa. They are living in Lincoln Nebraska. Michael has graduated Law School and doing very well. They have a marvelous son Lincoln James Ramey.
